The hydrogenation unit requires the replacement of 2 recycle hydrogen compressors; no prior experience with compressors exists. May I ask everyone, what does the process piping and instrumentation for compressors include? Especially in terms of instruments.
For large mechanical equipment like this, manufacturer guidance is usually required for installation; the aspects that need to be confirmed in terms of the manufacturing process include the compressor’s load and pressure, among others. Including the pressures of the buffer tanks before and after the compressor, the selection of circulation control valves, and so on~

Reciprocating compressor: main unit, buffer, motor, inlet and outlet pipe valves, branch valves, cooler, light oil station, oil injector, etc. Instrumentation: inlet and outlet pressure, inlet and outlet temperature, vibration, oil pressure, water pressure, motor bearing temperature, compressor bearing temperature, oil temperature, etc. Set the relevant interlocks as needed.
