The pressure difference in the vaporization tower of the dimethyl ether plant increased from 0.057 to 0.075 over a period of about one month; this increase is likely due to the accumulation of high-boiling substances on the tray surfaces. The plant uses technology developed by Sichuan Tianyi. How to reduce the pressure difference without stopping the machine? Discussion is welcome.
Could you be more detailed? Please share the PID of the tower and provide some basic information as well.
Clean up the accumulated deposits in a timely manner or replace them with more efficient tray elements; keep the feed flow rate as low as possible; reduce the temperature at the bottom of the tower as much as feasible, and consider safety pressure relief measures.
