As the title suggests, I’d appreciate it if everyone could discuss this!
It’s hard to measure this traffic, right? Does it need to be monitored continuously? If not, it would be better to measure the liquid level in the storage tank to calculate the flow rate over a certain period of time.
Is it feasible to use an electromagnetic flowmeter? However, indirect measurement and control via liquid level is indeed a very good approach!
An electromagnetic flowmeter will work, but it is better to use one with a ceramic lining, as it offers better wear resistance. Additionally, it is advisable to provide a side line for the flow meter, used for flushing it, which can help prevent blockages.
E+H’s electromagnetic flowmeter, Proline Promag 55S, should be able to meet the measurement requirements; however, more parameters need to be determined, such as solid content and conductivity, etc.
The main concern is that the slurry might be too viscous, causing blockages in the flow meter’s pipelines; if there are small particles present, the blockages will be even worse. If the slurry viscosity is too high, it is also difficult to fill the pipe completely.
Use electromagnetic or ultrasonic flowmeters.

For such a viscous medium, an electromagnetic flowmeter would be suitable. If the medium is conductive, devices like vortex flowmeters or turbine flowmeters will inevitably get clogged after some time; in that case, orifice plates, venturi tubes, nozzles, and similar devices can be used instead
Why not consider making the pressure tapping for the wedge flow meter in a flanged design?
The accuracy is not high; if the design institute does a decent job with the design, the errors in the data tables prepared by oneself are quite large
