The residual stress in the burners after surfacing repairs is higher; should such burners be managed separately from the original burners, with distinct operating time schedules established for them?
It should generally be managed in a categorized manner. Keep a record.
Is no overall heat treatment performed after welding the burner? With such high stress, it’s very dangerous to put it into use without carrying out stress-relief heat treatment. I don’t know much about burner maintenance; could you please explain?
It is easy to manage in the case of a single nozzle; experienced manufacturers plan the operating time based on the number of times the burner needs to be repaired. In the case of multi-nozzle systems, the operating time is also planned based on the number of repairs required. In practice, burner failures can affect both the repair process and the operation of the burners, and sometimes original burner heads and those that have been surfaced are used together.
We have three gasification furnaces and six burners, numbered in sequence. Issues encountered during the maintenance of each burner are recorded, and the coils, burner heads, and head surfacing areas are replaced as necessary. Each burner has an accumulated operating time, and the nozzle head is replaced once this accumulated time exceeds the specified limit. The gap dimensions measured after each maintenance check, degreasing reports, and so on are archived.

Based on the inspection results, right? If the cracks are not deep during the first inspection, surfacing is generally performed. For nozzles that have been surfaced for the first time, an inspection is carried out after they stop operating in the next cycle to determine whether it is necessary to replace the nozzle tip or to perform surfacing again. Nozzles that have been surfaced a second time are intended to have their nozzle tips replaced after they stop operating
