What does the process package include, and what is the level of design detail?

We signed a process package contract with the design institute, and they proposed many items, including: material balance, heat balance. 1. Process description; B. PFD and PID diagrams; C. Piping list; D. List of equipment (including all static and dynamic equipment); E. Summary table of equipment calculations; F. Summary table of safety valve calculations; G. Instructions for the control system and operation and maintenance manuals. The final version includes a CD with the control program software for programming and configuration. 2. Equipment design condition sheet (including equipment layout diagrams, internal structure diagrams of the equipment along with explanations, and information on the equipment’s center of gravity). 6.1.4 Piping discipline: A. Suggested equipment layout diagram; B. Material selection flowchart; C. Layout diagram of flammable and toxic gas detectors; D. Configuration requirements for DCS and SIS systems, etc. Are these all the items? In other words, we have carried out almost all the work except for the piping layout diagrams. Does this amount of work equate to us having designed the entire system? Is that correct?

The final version includes a CD with the control program software for programming and configuration. Where did you get it? Didn’t you buy it? It doesn’t matter for ordinary items, but be careful with sensitive confidential information
The process package is something that everyone knows; the theory is in the format of a thesis. Some cannot be used for production at all. Without it, the project cannot proceed; I never look at the process packages provided by design institutes when I do design work.
