What exactly do flow open valves and flow close valves mean?
At the throttle port, the flow direction of the medium is in the same direction as the valve’s opening direction; valves with this characteristic are called flow-on valves； Conversely, the flow that moves in the direction of valve closure (i.e., in the same direction as the valve closing), is called a flow-closing valve.
