Recently, a fire broke out in the mezzanine on the second floor of our 10kV distribution center; the area in question contained high-voltage cables and excitation transformers. We are seeking advice – do you have any good methods for monitoring the temperature of that entire mezzanine? Please recommend any relevant equipment and methods. Thank you
Could you explain in more detail? Fiber-optic temperature measurement is okay, but what does \"radiation throughout the entire process\" mean? Is infrared thermal imaging used for that?
Thermal imaging does not provide very good results for detecting cables; the effects are not obvious
Keep it in a dry environment; we used to place activated carbon at the ventilation openings. The key is to focus on inspections.
The main thing is to ensure effective isolation and eliminate sources of fire.

First, is your heat source resulting from normal operation or a fault short circuit? In the case of normal heating, consider the cable laying density and thickness; adjustments can be made to reduce heat generation due to cable accumulation, or ventilation equipment can be added ; If it’s a fault caused by a short circuit, you’ll need to analyze it on your own. Secondly, alarm measures such as cable temperature monitoring and smoke detection can be added.
