Q235bc can’t be used in pressure vessels these days, right?

This post was last edited by Heqi Chess Guy on 2015-8-14 at 21:15. I always thought that my pirated version wasn’t updated; I went to the design firm and used the legitimate, latest SW6 software, as well as cylindrical sheets made from the traditional grades Q235-b and Q235-C. What’s going on? .
It doesn’t say that Q235B/C cannot be used; it’s just that there are limitations on their scope of application.
As long as the operating temperature does not exceed the limits specified for the material, the shell thickness is below 16 mm, and the material is non-toxic and non-explosive, we will choose that option to keep costs lower.
