According to Sinopec News Network (Fu Qiang, Liu Libo), the construction work for the project to upgrade the quality of National 5 diesel at the Tahe Refining and Chemical Plant, undertaken by the Fourth Construction Company of the Refining and Chemical Engineering Group, has been completed recently. During the renovation construction, the Fourth Construction Project Department overcame difficulties such as low temperatures at the site, limited construction space, numerous design changes, and a large volume of work. It completed the task one day ahead of schedule, achieved zero safety accidents, and earned recognition from the supervision party and the project owner. In terms of quality management, the Si Jian Project Department has defined the responsibilities of various departments and management staff, adhered to a quality inspection system throughout the project process, ensuring that 100% of the project’s quality met the specified standards, with a first-pass welding success rate of 97.25%. Due to the heavy workload and tight schedule, the project team planned in advance and completed most of the equipment foundations, equipment installation, and pipeline prefabrication work before the renovation ； During the renovation period, coordination meetings are held at 23:00 every day to review the amount of work completed that day, identify any discrepancies, formulate corrective actions, and define the construction tasks for the following day, thereby ensuring that the project is completed on schedule.
