What is the concept of 1 cubic meter of gas? For example, 1 cubic meter of pure nitrogen?
At a pressure of one atmosphere and a temperature of 25°C or 0°C, one cubic meter of gas is one standard cubic meter.
After reading the explanation above, I often remembered it as 25°C; it seems it should be 20°C.
Regardless of the actual operating pressure, the gas flow rate is generally measured in standard cubic units; the actual volumetric flow rate should be converted to the flow rate under the actual pressure and temperature conditions (with pressure expressed as absolute pressure).
The pressure is one atmosphere, and the temperature is 20℃
The volume at standard conditions is 1 cubic unit. It is useful for measurement; under standard conditions, the volume of 1 mole of gas is 22.4 L (at 0°C, this value seems to be 24 L). Using this, 1 cubic standard unit of nitrogen corresponds to 1000/22.4 = 44.64 moles. Multiplying this by nitrogen’s molar mass of 28 g/mol gives 1250 g. By knowing the volume of the gas in standard cubic units and its composition, the average molar mass can be determined, and thus the mass of the gas can be calculated

Natural gas metering uses 20°C and 1 atmosphere of pressure as the standard conditions~~
Is it 20°C or 0°C? Back when I was in school, the concepts were clear, but now everything has become confusing.
