Has any of the classmates worked on LNG semi-underground or underground gas filling stations? ? Are there many such stations built? If an underground LNG refueling station is to be built, the LNG pump skids will also be placed underground. According to regulatory requirements, the wall of the tank pool must be at least 1.0 meter above the ground level. Wouldn’t making that 1-meter elevation too unsightly? Those who have worked on similar stations could please share their experiences or provide some photos from the site.
For underground LNG refueling stations, isn’t the LNG pump skid also placed underground? I didn’t understand that.

Cryopumps are generally located below the LNG storage tank; the pump skid is usually on the same foundation as the tank, and since the tank has saddles, the cryopump can be positioned below the tank’s water level. Not many projects are being carried out for underground LNG these days; more projects are of semi-underground and above-ground types.
I saw that Thump has done full burial installations, but I’m not sure about installation at the site. This part may involve the quality of pumps to be chosen as well as certain technical secrets, which may not be available online, and those who know them might not be willing to share them.
