Dear sea friends: Recently, there has been heavy rainfall, and sewage has mixed into the rainwater drainage within the factory area; at least the water quality exceeds the standard. Back-pumping measures will be taken to address this issue. However, the rainwater drainage outlet on the outside of the factory is connected to the municipal rainwater drainage pipeline, which contains a large amount of water. Since it is a wooden gate, it does not prevent water from flowing back, so the water keeps circulating and cannot be drained completely. I am seeking advice from those in the industry: how are gate valves installed at the discharge outlets outside your factories, or what measures are taken to cut off the flow? Seeking photos or measures. The accident tank has been a topic of much discussion recently; how should it be separated from the rainwater drainage system? Seeking advice on partitioning measures; hope friends can help.
How to isolate it from the rainwater drainage: The circular ditch surrounding the device stores 30 minutes’ worth of initial rainwater; once the rain stops, the valve can be opened to discharge the water into the accident tank. Wooden gate valves are definitely not suitable as they are not corrosion-resistant; stainless steel or plastic-lined gate valves can be used instead
The volume of that circular groove is quite large; how is it possible to switch between using clean rainwater and other types of water for cleaning?
