Besides being used for electrodeionization water injection, catalytic coking wash water, coking cutting water replenishment, and water filling in raw material water tanks and seal tanks, what further purification is required for it to be used in hydrogenation water injection and circulating water injection? What chemicals are needed for circulating water injection?
We are concerned about chloride ions in hydrogenation water injection; for making up the water in the circulating system, we use purified water from the sewage treatment plant.
We are a refinery; the purified water obtained after wastewater treatment certainly cannot be used. We can only consider using acidic water for stripping before purifying the water. After making changes to the circulation tank for two days, the water became cloudy. Is there any way to reuse this water?
If the chloride ion level is within acceptable limits, hydrogen injection and water injection can be carried out
This has been considered; in our plant, all acidic water is sent to an acidic water stripping unit. If the chloride ion level exceeds 5 ppm, it cannot be used as water for hydrogenation processes. It is therefore decided to use it as circulating water. Are there any other alternatives?
Our plant uses it for hydrogenation and water injection; the rest is sent to the wastewater treatment plant. Why does the purified water turn red when exposed to air? Is it because of phenolic substances present?
