Does anyone actually know whether coke oven gas and waste gas are the same?

I’ve read countless answers, and there are differing opinions even on the Internet; some say that coke oven gas is the same as waste gas, while others claim there is a significant difference. Is there any authoritative forum member who can clarify the concepts and differences between coke oven gas, waste gas, and recycled furnace gas? ? ? Thank you!
It should be different; since the components are different, the calorific value will also be different
Coke oven gas refers to the artificial gas produced through the coking process； Wastegas refers to the crude gas produced by coke ovens that has not yet been purified ； Loop gas refers to the relatively clean gas obtained after the purification of raw gas, and it is used for loop heating ； There is also over 50% of residual gas remaining, which can be used as a source of city gas, as a raw material for synthesis, or as a fuel for various heating furnaces.

Coke oven gas is a general term used for classification; it exists to distinguish it from other types of gas such as blast furnace gas. You should understand now. Generally, raw gas refers to gas that has not been purified. But coke oven gas is already purified. Got it.
