It is a vertical pressure vessel; at the top, there is an elbow with a diameter of 530 that extends from inside the tank to the outside of it. The elbow inside the tank currently has two circumferential welds – is radiographic inspection required?
These two welds can be considered as “circumferential joints between pipes,” and they fall under Category B welds, right? If so, the inspection requirements for Class A and B welds are quite clear
Elbows and straight pipes are essentially no different; both can be considered pipe fittings, right?

Logically, the seam around the tube inside the tank does not need to be inspected for defects, but it depends on whether a leak in the tube affects the process requirements. If a small amount of fluid leaking out has no impact on those requirements, then no inspection is necessary; otherwise, an inspection is required.
Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary to perform flaw detection inside the tank. There used to be a device in which the same pipe extension outside the tube required flaw detection, while no flaw detection was needed inside the tank. It is determined specifically based on the purpose of your device.
The internal extension tube of the equipment generally serves only as a guide and does not bear pressure, so it is not subject to non-destructive testing.
