Hello, Sea Friends! May I ask who has photos of flanges and valves after insulation after they have been installed in a vehicle? For our design, we plan to use a silicate coating on the valves – should this coating be applied to the flanges as well? Please give your advice

For our design, we plan to use a silicate coating on the valves – should this coating be applied to the flanges as well? Please advise: Do not apply silicate before starting work on the frame. After thermal tightening prior to commencement of work, treat it by wrapping it externally with glass fiber cloth using composite silicate felt or aluminum silicate fiber felt (if painting is required).

Silicate materials are outdated; after thermal tightening, use composite silicate felt or aluminum silicate fiber felt + valve box
Do it as per the regulations; a large temperature difference generally requires it
