Why is polytetrafluoroethylene not used as a filler in the typical materials for non-metallic gaskets used on pressure vessel flanges (NB/T47024-2012)? Can polytetrafluoroethylene gaskets be used when selecting standard pressure vessel flanges?
If not, it shouldn’t be chosen; otherwise, you have no basis to support it
