For the steam, oxygen, coal, water, and electricity used in methanol production, it’s necessary to conduct cost calculations. This additional cost needs to be taken into account when assessing performance; it’s also important to figure out what to do in case there are inaccuracies in the measurements, otherwise disputes may arise
This indicator is based on the quality of coal; what’s the use of conducting assessments if the coal itself is of poor quality!
Coal is in short supply at the moment, and there is great pressure to purchase it; one can only use whatever coal is available, with no choice at all. The quality of the coal cannot be guaranteed, nor can its gas production capacity or output be assured. I agree with your view. If the coal quality is poor, the only consequence of the assessment is a deduction from the payment.

The evaluation criteria vary from factory to factory, depending mainly on the purpose of the evaluation. Every factory, every workshop has its own tricks; when it comes to actual calculations, there are tons of issues that arise. I do suggest standardizing industry calculation criteria. Otherwise, if asked at industry meetings, how can you face it if your consumption is higher than that of other companies?
There should be a standard for this; it’s just a matter of converting all forms of energy consumption into standard coal. However, most projects find this too troublesome
