Could someone help answer: 1. Are there API certifications for mechanical equipment manufacturers? 2. If so, do domestic and foreign pump manufacturers have certifications? Could you give some example of manufacturer names?
API authentication is available; currently, some manufacturers in China send personnel to obtain the relevant certificates. Last time, there was a bearing manufacturer in Hunan that had API certification. Exhibition badge instructions: ⑴ Granted only to manufacturers that have passed API certification. ⑵ Not a guarantee regarding the manufacturer. ⑶ Not an endorsement of the design. ⑷ Not a guarantee regarding the product. ⑸ The manufacturer guarantees that each of the approved products complies with the API specifications at the time of manufacture. ⑹ API acknowledges that the manufacturer is trusted by API to adhere to the established API standards
I also found the information you mentioned online, but I asked a pump manufacturer that has factories both in China and abroad, and they said they don’t have any certifications. The American Petroleum Institute seems to be only involved in standard setting; they do not provide certifications.
There are few certified ones available in the domestic market at present!
