I’m seeking help from fellow sailors – what kind of electrical and instrumentation equipment is used in penicillin manufacturing plants? I have to go for an interview; I have no experience in the pharmaceutical industry, so I’d like to prepare ahead. Thank you

For pharmaceutical factories, it first falls under the category of chemicals. Well, for the parameters commonly seen in instrumentation fields such as P, T, F, L, A, etc., the main differences lie in the accuracy level of control and the requirements regarding the materials to be used. For the electrical engineering field, regardless of the type of chemical enterprise, electrical systems are part of the complete equipment. For telecommunication, no matter how the production process changes, at least the principle of telecommunication remains the same.
For the Electrical and Instrumentation major, it’s sufficient to do well in the tasks related to that field.
For pharmaceutical factories to obtain GMP certification, many instrument and process connections need to be of a hygienic type, with no dead corners allowed. Some even require FDA certification. The most common option is a 1.5-inch chuck connection; other special types include milk tube interfaces as well as Biocontrol interfaces
