Several of the hollow O-rings have an excessively small outer diameter. Since the gaskets are installed by being hung vertically, the manufacturer requires that they do not fall off. What are some good methods to prevent these hollow O-rings from falling off during installation? It is also stated that butter cannot be used. .
The original poster isn’t very clear – is it the diameter of the O-ring that is too small, or the diameter of the washer surrounding the O-ring? Why is it necessary to suspend it in place? Do the manufacturers have any good solutions?
