Should external pressure cone shell reinforcement rings be installed?

For an externally pressurized conical shell, can I install reinforcement rings at the larger end, while leaving no reinforcement rings at the smaller end? In SW6, when I set a reinforcement ring, the program automatically applies it to both the big-end and little-end formats. Can this be modified?
Generally, no reinforcement ring is designed; you just don’t need to use the larger end as a support line. If a reinforcement ring is used in the big-end design, it may not be necessary to include one in the small end.
