The company plans to build Phase 2, and I’ve only graduated for a year – I don’t know anything yet. The company wants to assign me to work on bidding tasks for Phase 2! ! I'm completely confused; let me first take a look at the tender documents and feasibility study for this phase. . . Should I prepare more? I hope the seniors here can give me some advice :)

For bidding processes, consider equipment selection; by taking into account the system’s PID settings and the production process, there is much to learn
Which project is it? There’s also a phase 2, but there aren’t many new projects available right now. Automation should refer to instrument control; it’s not just DCS – instruments and valves are all items that are ordered as part of instrument control.
It’s the process flow of power plants, along with various process parameters, which are very useful for your work. For example, you need to know the location where the sensor is installed, the environment, the maximum and minimum values of the measurements, as well as the required precision.
You work in thermal control and are responsible for finding suppliers; a second phase of construction is needed. Usually, equipment bidding takes place at the beginning, and later on, the maintenance of that equipment is outsourced. During the 168-hour tests, the outsourced personnel will need to be on site
1. First, it is necessary to understand the manufacturing process; in terms of thermal control, focus on the boiler and turbine systems in thermal power plants – are they supercritical or subcritical boilers? Understand the boiler’s combustion system, feedwater system, water treatment system, etc.
2. Understand the overall control scheme, the type of control methods used, and be familiar with SAMA diagrams or P&ID diagrams.
3. Be aware of the control systems employed, such as DCS or PLC, and familiarize yourself with their specifications.
4. Know about the monitoring instruments and actuators that will be used, and be familiar with the relevant lists.
5. There are also other items to consider, such as lists of engineering materials like cables. There is still much more to learn!!!
