Leak in the heating pipeline inside the formaldehyde tank

Recently, it was discovered that there is a leak in the heating element for the coiled tubes inside the formaldehyde tank at our factory; a strong smell of formaldehyde can be detected in the condensate recovery drain water. The liquid level in our formaldehyde tank is still quite high at the moment. Does anyone have any good suggestions?
Temporarily stop heating with the steam coil and instead use hot air to blow inside.
Isolate both the heating steam and return water with blind flanges, and stop using them going forward. Consider adding heating tubes outside the formaldehyde tank.
The internal heating steam coil in the formaldehyde tank of our unit is also leaking, just as the original poster said. Initially, it was considered to vent out the formaldehyde, enter the area wearing chemical protective gear, and use clamps to seal the leak. However, given the high risks associated with this approach, the issue was resolved by using a formaldehyde circulation pipeline with jacketed steam heating.
The formaldehyde circulation pipeline is equipped with a jacketed steam system for heating; the temperature in this jacket can be quite high. Does this have any impact on the formaldehyde? Shouldn’t it be changed to electric heating so that the temperature can be better controlled?
The formaldehyde tank is equipped with steam coil heating and steam tracing through piping, but the temperature is difficult to control and remains high. What is the reason for this?
We also switched to external heating, and the results are good! The condensate valve opening is controlled; although the opening degree is small, it can still be effectively regulated.
