Will a vacuum break valve on the steam pipeline accelerate the electrochemical corrosion of the pipeline by condensate water?

As the title says. Steam heaters generally have vacuum break valves in their piping to prevent damage to the heater. But doesn’t the air that is introduced into the pipeline coming into contact with the condensate water cause electrochemical corrosion of the pipe walls?
It depends on what gas is introduced into the pipeline; a chemical reaction may occur upon contact with condensate water
