As the title suggests, there’s no need for further explanation. It is understood that: 1) A large design institute in Beijing currently has hardly any major projects. 2) A medium-sized design institute in Nanjing – basically no work to do. 3) A design institute in Shandong – extremely few projects available...... Please share what you know!
It seems the situation isn’t optimistic; fortunately, I’m not in this industry
The situation as I understand it is more or less the same – everyone spends most of their time resting.
Things are okay in our institute; we’re still working on large projects, and there are also smaller projects, but they’re all relatively small installations carried out by private enterprises.
Several people I know have switched to working in the environmental protection sector. My own company is doing well for now, as its technical expertise matches what the market needs at present; I’ve heard that there are many companies cutting jobs and salaries
Things are fine for now; the project can be completed by the second half of next year. If the work done this year goes smoothly, the next three years should be quite busy.
