Does anyone know which books provide good information on the properties of materials and their suitable application conditions? Books that can be used as references for study

It is best to clarify the type of material and the industry background, as this makes it more targeted. Additionally, different industry standards generally recommend various materials, which can also be used as a reference. For example, the non-metallic, elastomeric, and thermosetting materials recommended for use in the oil and gas industry in standard ISO23936; the pipeline materials for the oil and gas industry specified in Norsok M001; and the metallic materials for oil and gas applications defined by API 5L.
