I’m seeking advice: if water enters the two benzene towers, what effects will it have on pressure and temperature? Where can the most direct effects be observed?

Feeding water into both benzene towers will cause an increase in the temperature and pressure at the top of the towers. If the drain from the reflux tank is handled promptly, the impact is minimal; otherwise, moisture in the light benzene can affect the catalysts used in the subsequent hydrogenation processes.
