I checked it myself – the new version removes many of the diagrams related to construction from the old version, and there are also significant changes in the table of contents. It’s not like ordinary standard upgrades where only a few items are added; the changes here are quite substantial. I was wondering if anyone with more expertise could help analyze the differences between the old and new versions. O(∩_∩)O Thank you!
I haven’t studied that standard. My personal guess is based on the following two factors: 1. The technology used in the accompanying drawings is a bit outdated; after all, over the past decade or so, the more I come into contact with foreign technologies, the more I realize the inefficiencies and shortcomings in them, which necessitate improvements ; 2. From a safety perspective, no incidents have occurred in the past, or if they do occur, the government can suppress them. These days, information spreads in the media at an extremely fast pace; once something happens, it quickly becomes a big deal. Those who set the standards also do not want to take on the risk of accidents occurring when workers construct in accordance with those standards.
Generally, the standards tend to get more stringent over time, and software programs also become larger as well. . It’s rare to see the page count decrease even after a revision.
It is also possible that, after the standards are refined, they will turn into several separate standards, or be divided into .1, .2. . . and so on. It’s also possible to use other standards for the relevant sections and simply write out the sections corresponding to those standards; no further explanation is needed. Some involve discarding elements that newer authors consider unreasonable.
