As a worker in the chemical industry, chemical plants are usually located in remote areas, and most workers have to leave their hometowns. It’s not a big issue for men; but once they get a girlfriend, if she isn’t working in the chemical industry, she will complain that there’s no one to stay with her at night. She also doesn’t like this life of constantly being on the move. For the sake of the family, I really want to choose another career, but I know I’ve already made my commitment and there’s no way back. I also believe that marriage will make my life better. I will work hard to provide you with a stable home and bring you happiness in the future.
Not on the same channel. There are many people leaving their hometowns these days; it’s just a matter of how long it will take. I read somewhere that abroad, couples are required to stay together; if they don’t see each other for a certain period of time (I think it’s 3 months), then they have to get divorced. Therefore, it is common to see families moving wholeheartedly for work.
I agree; it’s hard to find a girlfriend in a chemical plant!
Thinking about it now, if it weren’t for the fact that our work and home are in the same town, my wife wouldn’t even consider talking to me! :$
