What causes the pump to shut down frequently in a water ring vacuum pump within a vacuum flash evaporation system? I wonder if other manufacturers have this problem as well? Additionally, we have also designed a steam ejector at the inlet of the vacuum pump
Problems with the liquid ring pump itself, I guess? Is the accompanying motor too small? What is the inlet pressure of the liquid ring pump?
Check whether there is scaling inside the pump, which is causing the vacuum pump to overload and shut down.
If components such as the impeller inside the pump become scaled, it can easily cause the vacuum pump to overload and shut down, or even lead to damage to the motor.
Is there a steam injector at the vacuum pump inlet? It should be an atmospheric ejector. Installing this thing doesn’t have much effect. You must be using a 2SK water ring vacuum pump
If this pump shuts down due to flashing, there are only two possible reasons: overflow or overheating. It should also be checked and confirmed based on the actual situation
