What are the regulations regarding cooling after a circulating fluidized bed boiler is shut down?
1. Within 6 hours of shutdown, cooling can be achieved by intensifying the circulation of the fluid inside the drum and water wall; the dampers of all air and flue gas systems as well as all manholes must not be opened. 2. After 6 hours, the dampers of the smoke and air system can be opened to facilitate ventilation and cooling. 3. After 8 hours of shutdown, the manholes in the furnace chamber and the tail flue can be opened to enhance ventilation. 4. After the boiler has been shut down for 10–12 hours, the induced draft fan can be started for cooling, and close monitoring of the drum wall temperature should be carried out. 5. After a 16-hour shutdown, fans 1 and 2 can be started according to the maintenance tasks to continue cooling.
In the case of forced cooling: 1. After shutting down the furnace for 12 hours, enhance water replacement cooling in the steam-water system. 2. After shutting down the furnace for 12 hours, discharge the bottom slag to allow it to cool. 3. After the furnace has been shut down for 12 hours, start the induced draft fan for cooling.
