Could the experts tell me where the coal was sourced from in 2014 and 2015, as well as how often slag clogging occurred in the gasification furnaces? I’d like to do some statistics on this. Please!
It’s hard to say; slag blockage is an indication of abnormal operation in the gasification furnace, and in most cases it is due to problems with technical management. An accurate ash fusion point, accurate viscosity-temperature behavior curves, and strict adherence to manufacturing procedures can help prevent slag blockage; frequent slag blockages indicate serious problems in technical management.
The blockage of the slag outlet in the gasification furnace is an artificial accident; by taking into account the melting point of the ash, the operating temperature, and the amount of solvent added, it is possible to effectively control the discharge of liquid slag. The blockage of the slag outlet is thus caused by human factors!

It seems to have nothing to do with the frequency; it’s mainly due to the quality of coal and the operating conditions. With good coal quality and proper control of the furnace temperature, clogging of the slag outlet basically does not occur! In our project, it hasn’t happened even once in two years of operation!
