Advantages and disadvantages of ammonia desulfurization for coke oven gas

Most coking plants these days use alkaline desulfurization. Are there any other manufacturers that use the ammonia desulfurization method? What are the differences in cost and effectiveness between ammonia-based desulfurization and alkali-based desulfurization? I would appreciate it if fellow sailors could give me some advice
It is understood that the ammonium sulfate process is not profitable; therefore, ammonia-based desulfurization is less costly than alkali-based desulfurization, but its desulfurization efficiency is poor. Is that the case? I would appreciate advice from fellow sailors.
We use the ammonia-based desulfurization method; the downside is that the gas coming from the fan room is at a high temperature and needs to be cooled, and the working environment there is poor – it’s very irritating. After desulfurizing crude benzene using the alkaline method, there is no need to lower the temperature of the gas; it is clean. The efficiency depends on the desulfurization equipment and catalysts used
