When I first started college, I joined the student council out of trend; after a rather trivial interview, I became a staff member in the department office. In my sophomore year I became an assistant to the head of the council, and that’s where it ended. . . Our office is part of the logistics department; our main tasks are to prepare things such as bottled water for various events, tables and chairs, as well as handling assessments for other departments. . 1. Setting off firecrackers: In my first year, we were responsible for setting off firecrackers at a certain moment during a event; however, the entire event was organized by another department. After it was over, I saw someone giving cola to the staff, so my deputy leader rushed in and said, “Get 4 bottles of cola!” ”. (There were four of us at the time.) The people inside were stunned and asked, “What do you guys do?” ” “Fire fireworks?” “Fire fireworks?” Which department? ” “Chemical industry. . . ” “From the chemical industry? ? ? ” So we ran out in shame. . 2. Interview: It’s so great being an interviewer for the first time, right? Sitting in the classroom. . Watching the freshmen, my younger schoolmates, give various presentations. . We’ve also been holding back. . Why endure it? . Because of that desire to take revenge on society, it’s so satisfying that one can’t help but laugh. . . We often end up laughing non-stop during interviews, leaving the younger interns looking at us in confusion. Why are you laughing? . . 3. The orientation program takes place in the first semester of sophomore year; I consider this to be the most meaningful student affairs activity in college, and I still hold this view until the end of my sophomore year. . . I left at 4:30 in the morning to go to the cafeteria and get the breakfast that had been prepared in advance, to give it to colleagues from other departments who also got up early. . Prepare tents, tables and chairs, paper and pens, etc., for the new student welcome. . Then participate in the morning welcome session. . Rest during the day, then participate in the evening shift for welcoming newcomers, and finally pack up the tents. . . There’s nothing to do. . It’s because we’re in charge of logistics. . . During this time, seeing all these young actors made me think of myself from a year ago. . . As soon as the school bus arrived, the freshmen from various faculties rushed towards it at lightning speed, shouting the names of their respective faculties. . The young guys in the car and their parents were smiling, influenced by our momentum. . We grabbed the luggage of the fresh faces in our school, took them to the registration area to complete all the necessary procedures, and followed them all the way to the dormitories before handing them over to the class advisors. . The young actors and their parents kept saying thank you, thank you; I felt a great sense of achievement at that time. . Back then, I would get up early and work late; it was tiring, but I was really happy to be able to help those young actors. During my college days, many people criticized the student council, saying that they didn’t learn anything other than doing hard physical labor. Can’t get it either. . . But then again. . . I still think so to this day. . Although I did indeed work as free labor for 2 years. . But we have experienced things that others have not. . For example, during the orientation, we felt the sincere gratitude from parents and experienced the joy of genuinely helping others. . We also met more friends, including those from the student council who helped us with tasks, as well as some young people who offered their assistance. . In short, going through student council is quite interesting~~
