What is the function of a chlorine drying bubble column? Does it only serve to dry? The material used for the bubble column in our factory is currently FRP/PVC; after years of operation, leaks have occurred on multiple occasions. We now wish to replace it – is it possible to use a bubble column made of carbon steel instead?
It can be changed; we did change it, and the result was great.
Is there a packed tower in front of your bubble column? If so, carbon steel can be used; make sure to maintain the correct concentration of concentrated sulfuric acid during use.

The prerequisite is that the chlorine water catcher must be in good condition; otherwise, the salts present in the chlorine water will enter the chlorine gas system and block all of your bubble caps.
