The unit is used for downstream processing of methanol; there are several DN15 small vent valves on the superheater of the waste heat boiler. According to available information, the flanges should be of PN10.0 WN15 RF 12Cr1MoV type, while the pipes should be made of 12Cr1MoVG material. However, no information regarding the material of the valves was found. Steam leaks are occurring at the site and these valves need to be replaced; it’s not safe to get too close to examine them, but it is known that they are gate valves. I have just started working in this field, and I would like to ask everyone about which types of valves and materials related to valves should be used, as well as the criteria for making such choices. Check on site to determine whether it is manual or pneumatic. If it is manual, Z40Y-PN10 DN15 RF WC9/chromomolybdenum steel + cobalt-based cemented carbide should work; if it is pneumatic, Z60Y-PN10 DN15 RF WC9/chromomolybdenum steel + cobalt-based cemented carbide should work

With a small diameter, high pressure, and the need for venting, it is difficult to design gate valves; it is recommended to use hard-sealed ball valves, with 12Cr1MoV as the material, and a PN10.0 RF flange connection type
I was just about to say the same thing; it seems someone has already brought it up. Indeed, 100 kg of pressure RF is really not applicable. Choose the T/G face or RJ ring connection face. For RF, it is generally recommended to use it for weights under 40 kilograms
