May I ask whether the fire hazard of heat transfer oil falls under Category C or Category D? Additionally, can an electric heating system for heat transfer oil be installed in a Facility of Category A, and is it necessary to have a separate room for it? Thank you
Heat transfer oil belongs to Class C! Our company’s separate unit is heated by coal. If electric heating is used, it should be possible to install it in a Class A factory building. Just like the power distribution room in a workshop!
The heat transfer oil belongs to Category C. As you described, if electric heating is used, it can be placed in a Facility of Category A; however, given the area requirements for Facilities of Category A, space will be quite limited for the production equipment that uses heat transfer oil
