Yes, if the isopentane content is too high, it may cause freezing and blockage in the subcooled section
What is the required level of heavy hydrocarbon content before entering the cold box? Are there any measuring instruments?
Below 270 ppm………………
Isn’t liquefaction exothermic? Heat is absorbed during vaporization!
Generally, a heavy hydrocarbon separation tank is installed in the middle section of the cold box, depending on the amount of heavy hydrocarbons, in order to separate them out
