As the title suggests: Is the wall thickness the same for pipes of the same diameter and the same wall thickness class? Upon checking B36.10, it was found that there are differences in wall thickness for pipes with the same diameter and the same wall thickness grade, which differs from my previous understanding. If such differences indeed exist, then it means that once the diameter and wall thickness grade are specified, the actual wall thickness remains uncertain. Describing a pipe as STD or Sch40 is actually inaccurate; a similar issue arises when using wall thickness grades to represent the wall thickness of fittings, although in engineering practice, wall thickness grades are still commonly used to describe fittings. As shown in the figure above, how should this... be understood? I hope the experienced experts here can help answer this question; thank you so much!

The image doesn’t show up; within the same series with uniform specifications, the wall thickness should be identical.
For this specification series, there is no one-to-many relationship regarding the wall thickness designation (Sch); some have such a designation (commonly used), while others do not (rarely used), and not every row corresponds to a designation.
