Briefly describe the structure of the Lurgi tube methanol synthesis reactor.
Vertical shell-and-tube reactor, with a gas distributor at the top, a ceramic ball support cone downstream, a catalyst removal port, and a gas outlet and manhole at the bottom. The shell side is connected to a steam drum, which contains a water distributor. There are various safety accessories on the outside. The belt serves as the water distribution ring for the drum boiler, with a start-up steam injector connected to it.
