The new membrane has been in use for 2.5 months, and the nitrate deficiency level has been rising steadily over the past week. All other parameters such as pH, OPP, and temperature are normal. What other factors could affect the performance of the membrane? Please share your thoughts – let’s discuss this together!
The traffic volume hasn’t changed much; could you explain the factors at play?
The permeability of the membrane is fixed; when the flow rate exceeds this limit, the sulfate concentration in the lean nitrate stream increases.
Could you please explain the specific parameters for controlling pH and ORP? Also, is this the first time your facility is using nanofiltration for denitration, or have you used it before? Were new membranes installed only in the past 2 months?
I don’t log on to Shanghai Chuanwang very often; if you need anything, you can contact me via QQ at 103700701.
If there are no problems with the membrane, the sulfate content in the water produced by NF membranes is related to the operating temperature, operating pressure, recovery rate, and the sulfate content in the feed water.
How can I tell if there’s a problem with the membrane? Let’s discuss in detail the effects of temperature, operating pressure, and recovery rate. Also, are there any manufacturers that use Shanghai Kai Membrane nitrogen removal systems?
