Regarding domestic sulfur analyzers for petroleum products, especially those used for light petroleum products and gaseous hydrocarbons, the products manufactured by Jiangsu Electroanalytical Instrument Factory have been in production for about 30 years now, and their quality is quite satisfactory. As for imported products, the items made by some manufacturers are pretty average – aside from their high price and difficulty in maintenance, they don’t have any other notable features. For liquid petroleum products, X-ray fluorescence is increasingly preferred nowadays, as it has certain advantages over other methods due to its ability to analyze samples without destroying them and its low maintenance requirements. Especially for online total sulfur analyzers, energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence analyzers offer significant advantages.
Has anyone compared X-ray fluorescence method and ultraviolet fluorescence method for liquid petroleum products?
