1. Check the reactor current (to determine if wear of the impeller is causing a decrease in mixing efficiency); 2. Check whether the alkene ratio is appropriate ; 3. Test the concentrated sulfuric acid inside the reactor – is it necessary to add more acid?
The current change was minimal; the alkene-to-olefin ratio decreased, and the acid concentration dropped. Acid consumption was high over these two days, so the coalescer was taken out for cleaning
So what’s the effect after coalescence cleaning? Does the isobutane reflux tank contain a lot of water? How are the raw materials?
The most effective approach is to increase the alkene-to-alkane ratio in the reactor, particularly by raising this ratio of the feed material to between 1.5 and 2.0, thereby reducing the output and depleting the olefins present in the system; subsequent adjustments should be made while paying attention to changes in acid concentration.
Alkylation ratio? Acid hydrocarbon ratio? Acid concentration?

Ultimately, the accident was caused mainly by the failure to replenish the acid concentration in a timely manner
