Our factory’s ammonia screw refrigerators frequently trigger low suction pressure alarms and automatically reduce load, along with low suction temperatures. Based on my personal analysis, the ammonia system seems to be functioning normally. It’s possible that this is related to the low volume of material supplied for heat exchange, as well as dirty or blocked valves in the supply pipelines. It should be noted that the heat exchange medium is gaseous ethylene.
