Article 99 of the Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment: The terms used in these Regulations mean as follows: (1) A boiler refers to a device that uses various fuels, electricity, or other forms of energy to heat the liquid contained within it to certain parameters, thereby releasing thermal energy; such devices are defined as pressure steam boilers with a volume of 30 liters or more； Pressure-bearing hot water boilers with an outlet water pressure of 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure) or higher, and a rated power of 0.1 MW or higher ； Organic heat carrier boiler.
Heat transfer oil furnaces do not require supervision or inspection; they are a type of heating furnace and do not fall under the category of boilers
