After adsorbing organic substances using activated carbon or activated carbon fibers, steam is used for desorption and regeneration; in this case, is superheated steam more effective or is saturated steam more effective for desorption?
Superheated steam is of course the best for desorption, mainly because it has a high temperature and large heat content, resulting in a fast desorption rate.
