I have several buffer tanks in my factory; the medium used is fuel gas, nitrogen, etc. They are mounted on skirt foundations. During secondary grouting, should it be done only around the anchor bolts, or should the entire space at the bottom of the buffer tanks be filled with grout? The internal container of this buffer tank is separated from the base by a certain distance. Are there any requirements in the southern standards regarding this?
The area that is grouted is the ring on the outside that makes contact with the skirt.

It comes in vertical and horizontal types; buffer tanks are generally vertical, right? Secondary grouting is mainly used to achieve precise alignment of the equipment – it’s sufficient to fill the layer where the shims are located; to be more exact, filling up to the base is enough. There is definitely some space at the bottom of the container, so there’s no need to worry about that
