The heat exchange heat pipe extends 50 mm beyond the tube sheet; what width of bridge gap should exist between the tube sheet and the heat exchange tube for welding to be possible?
I think you can find a manual TIG welder to try using the welding gun; as long as it can rotate one full circle, the minimum distance required for welding will be the size of the hole bridge in your equipment.
