I just checked the new posts and selected \"Latest Replies\"; to my surprise, page 1 consisted entirely of posts with a deadline for response, namely the so-called \"posts from the future\". I counted: there are 50 posts on page 1, and 9 more on page 2.
Two or three is fine, but if there are more, there’s no point in keeping improving. This feature should limit the number of posts.
I think for event announcement posts, the deadline can be extended or highlighted according to the end date of the event； A notification post within the forum will work as well. As for the rest, it’s a matter of personal opinion! Anyway, the system defaults to showing the “most recently published” items.
“It’s not good when posts with time limits to be promoted flood the platform. What’s the difference between doing this and making all “posts with a deadline for promotion” second-level pinned?
But we can’t dampen their enthusiasm either; we still need to guide them positively. I don’t know how to do that, so I’m posting this to discuss it.
